Favre Signs with Viks for $25 mill

Brett Favre signs with Vikings

Quarterback Brett Favre just signed a two year deal with the Minnesota Vikings worth $12 million the first year and $13 million the second.

The former Packer/Jet decided to come out of retirement for the umpteen time to take over the lead role for a Purple Viking team.

Question is, how will this effect Viking team moral.  Obliviously Favre waited until the last minute to avoid training camp.

Favre comes in with a career high 464 touchdown passes, 5,720 completions and a 85.4 percent efficiency rating.  To make his $12 million this year he simply has to take one snap.

Is it about money?  Is it about ego?  Or is it a combination of both?  After 18 seasons in the NFL Favre has nothing left to prove.  The aging 40 year old Viking, Favre will now have to face playing against the Packers, a team that he played for 16 seasons.
