Hilo Bronco beats Lihue to Claim State Crown

Hawaii Pony Regional State Tournament:

 
Hilo Black became Bronco busters by claiming the state crown in a 4-1 title win over Lihue over the 4th of July setting off fireworks in our community.
The Hilo squad is made up of Kelii Montibon, Makana Aiona, Treysen Ishimoto, Jaisten Cabatbat, Trayden Tamiya, Brett Komatsu, Dallas Duarte, Kein Uyeda, Joey Ongais, Shaun Kurosawa, Robert Narimatsu, Kenrick Uyeda Kurosawa, Caleb Freitas-Fields and coach Vincent Killeen.
No Hilo team had won a Bronco Division title since 1993.
Congratulations to our talented home town youngsters.
