Hilo to Volcano Ultra and Relay event scheduled for Jan 21, 2012

2012 Hilo To Volcano 50k Ultra Marathon and Relay.  Most items are the same as 2011 except for the following:

• Ultra runners REQUIRED to wear a REFLECTIVE VEST and RED LED LIGHT..
• FIXED NUMBER of Relay categories instead of the many combinations that were available before.
• Entry fee REDUCED for High School Relay teams to encourage more participation.

ENTER EARLY – BIRR will have the same Brooks Long Sleeved Podium technical shirts this year.  The color for this year will be bright green.  They are special ordered and race orginizers have 100 in the sizes listed on the entry form.  First Come / First Served.  When they are out……we are OUT, said a BIRR spokesperson.
