DeLorm dedicating Ironman New Zeland to former cross country coach
I am humbled to learn that one of my former cross country runners, Garrett DeLorm, Waiakea class of 2000, has dedicated his first Ironman, New Zealand, to me. Here is what Garrett wrote:
I’m very sorry to hear about the cancer, but am glad to hear you’re doing a good job with the recovery so far. My prayers go out to you and your family for your continued well-being. Give ’em hell coach. Nothing can keep down the big dog.
