Running with the Big Dog

Former BIIF x-c champ Chris Mosch running for University of Oregon RC

Chris Mosch for U of O #770

Chris Mosch, former Honokaa High School cross country standout and two time Big Island Interscholastic Federation Champion, ran 15:34 for 3 miles and then a 35 second last 200 to get to  16:09 for the 5000 meters with the University of Oregon Running Club.

That’s almost a minute faster than his previous PR for 3 miles (his old PR was 16:27 for 3 miles in X-country).

Mosch  also made the Dean’s List at U of Oregon for the last quarter and has an internship working for the U of O baseball team.

Mosch is a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, ran for U of O at the Club Nationals in North Carolina in November (the team finished 8th in the US), and is a member of the Junior Executive Committee for the Asian Pacific Islander Student Union.

Mosch is making us proud and we wish him continued success.
