  1. What do we do if we cannot check in on Satuday?
Is it okay to check in early Sunday morning the day of the race?

    • All unclaimed numbers will be brought to their respective starting points and numbers will need to be claimed one hour prior to the start or they will not be issued.

  2. Hi BIG, I’ll be one of two individuals to Load the Shuttle at Pauahi Parking Lot, 0400-0500,18Mar12. What is the Grid Azimuth or Street Address? I’ll use my GPS to locate the Pick-up Point. I am on Oahu until 2030,17Mar12, but see no problem for me to be at Pick-up Point NLT 0345,this Sunday morning. Can you use me for Bus Loading Duty? Archie Hapai,III

  3. Hi BIG, it was good talking with you Re: Bus Loading Procedures at 0430,18Mar12, Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Lobby. As I understood you, First fill all 50 seats in Bus #one, then send #one to Pepeekeo, then fill all 50 seats in Bus #two then send off Bus #2 to Starting Line, finally, fill all 50 seats in Bus #3, then send Bus to Kulaimano. Is this accurate? I remain at Pickup Area setting the Stage for ONLY
Bus #one to do last Haul of Runners to Starting Line. Any additions to this discussion?

    • All three buses are to make two rounds to the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel to be sure everyone has a chance to make it to start. Last bus should leave Hilo Hawaiian no later that 0530

      • Got it clearer. Three Buses, 2 round trips only. Fill each Bus to max capacity prior to leaving for Starting Line. Last Bus departs Hilo Hawaiian Hotel NLT 0530. Any thing else?
