World Record Holder, Usain Bolt, Dominates South Korean Meet
Jamaican sprinter and world record holder, Usain Bolt, continues his winning ways by winning the 100 meters in Daegu, South Korea, earlier this week with a dominating 9.86 seconds time.
Bolt, who is also the world record holder in the 200 meter dash, will race in that event in Shanghai on Sunday.
It was a start of the season for Bolt who owns the world record in the 100 with a time of 9.58 seconds and is the world record holder in the 200 at 19.19 seconds.
After the race in Daegu, Bolt was satisfied with his performance but realized that he still need to work “on a few things.” “I’ll try to give my fans a good show,” he said of his upcoming race in Shanghai.
Bolt along with Asafa Powell, Michael Frater and Nesta Carter ran and won the Olymipic Games in Beijing doing the 4×100 relay in world record time for that event in a blistering time of 37.31 seconds.
