8-week Outdoor Bootcamp – Fall Session

September 26 – November 18, 2011

Bootcamp is the ultimate way to jumpstart your fitness and drop unwanted pounds! By using randomized movements and cardiovascular training, you can get the lean toned body that you have always wanted. Our programs are both general and specific in design. We’ve trained everyone from senior citizens to marathon runners to triathletes. These programs are for individuals who are committed to making a change in their life with the support of a strong community, no matter what walk of life they are coming from.

What to expect:

  • Core strength and a tighter back side
  • Function that will apply to any sport as well as every day life
  • Accountability of goals for maximum results
  • Increase in strength and cardiovascular endurance
  • Increase in coordination and agility
  • Have a blast working out with like-minded, motivated people
  • Nutrition counseling and accountability

Class location / time:                     Kona (Old Airport walking trail) – Mon/Wed/Fri – 6:30-7:15 am
Hilo (Queen Liliuokalani Park) – Mon/Wed/Fri – 6:30-7:15 am

CrossFit having Grand Opening Party – August 20

 Hot Summer Night of Jazz, Cocktails and Charity (CFBI Grand Opening)             Saturday, August 20th
6:30pm-9:30pm 

@ CrossFit Big Island (1717 Kamehameha Avenue, across from Ken’s House of Pancakes, Hilo)
CrossFit Big Island is officially opening their doors on August 20th and kicking things off with a big party to support our HILO SURFRIDER CHAPTER (think ocean, waves and local beach protection) as well as gym members, Brooke and Joel, who are traveling to HAITI this September to volunteer at a hospital and host a children’s arts camp. 
Think, cocktails, Kona brewskies, the one and only Big Island latin-gypsy-funk band LECHE DE TIGRE, dancing, live DJ, a silent auction for awesome stuff like surfboards, zip-line tours, gold CrossFit memberships, Dolphin encounter certificates, tattoos, massages, art … the list goes on!
Everyone is welcome and admission is FREE! Come out and support a couple of great causes, it’s gonna be one hot night!!

CrossFit Big Island Opening New Facility in Kona

CrossFit Aliʼi is officially opening its doors in Kailua Kona on Saturday, November 20th. The popular fitness program created for all ages and ability uses high intensity, functional movements in constantly varied, teamwork style workouts has been spreading across the Hawaiian Islands for the last 5 years and is now hitting the Big Islandʼs west side.

Joel Tessier, founder of CrossFit Big Island in Hilo and now CrossFit Aliʼi is excited for his business and the CrossFit fitness program to be part of Kailua Konaʼs community.
