Katie McGregor Wins USA Women’s 10 mile championship
Katie McGregor from Saint Louis Park, Minn, won the USA Women’s 10 Mile Championships last week in a time of 54 minutes and 21 seconds.
This was McGregor’s seventh career U.S. title. In the autumn of 2006 McGregor ran the New York City Marathon and finished in ninth-place with a time of 2:32.36.
During the spring of 2007 she won the USATF 25 km championships, finishing in a time of 1:25.53 which was nearly three minutes ahead of the rest of the field.
Her success continued in early 2008 when she finished fourth at the US Cross Country Championships in San Diego.
