One of the greatest joys in teaching and coaching is to see former student/athletes succeed in life.
The twins graduated from Waiakea in 2009 with Sarah attending Boston University and Daniel is at Harvard.
“I’m majoring in Human Psychology and want to enter the medical field,” Sarah said.
Sarah continues with a regular weight training program three times per week and she swims regularly.
“I’m majoring in anthropology and will enter the medical field in community health,” Daniel said.
Daniel runs regularly on the campus of Harvard and also works as a school lifeguard.
The best thing about these two young people is that after getting their medical degrees they plan on moving back to Hilo and contributing to our community.
