Official HHSAA Division I & Division II Baseball Brackets
The official brackets for the 2011 Wally Yonamine Foundation/HHSAA Baseball State Championships. Below are the participating teams by league in their order of finish as well as their win-loss records.
DIVISION I:
OIA 1. Moanalua (13-1-1) 2. Pearl City (10-5)
3. Kailua (13-1-1) 4. Mililani (10-5)
5. Leilehua (10-6) 6. Roosevelt (9-7)
ILH 1. Saint Louis (16-2) 2. Mid-Pacific (14-4)
BIIF 1. Waiakea (10-1-1) 2. Hilo (9-3)
MIL 1. Baldwin (14-0) 2. Kamehameha-Maui (7-7)
Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Saint Louis (16-2) was awarded the top seed, followed by No. 2 seed and Oahu Interscholastic Association champion Moanalua (13-1-1), and No. 3 seed and Maui Interscholastic League champion Baldwin (14-0). BIIF champ Waiakea gets the No. 4 seed.
DIVISION II:
OIA 1. Radford (10-3) 2. Waipahu (11-1) 3. Kalaheo (9-3)
ILH 1. Pac-Five (9-5)
BIIF 1. Konawaena (10-0) 2. Hawaii Prep (8-3)
MIL 1. Molokai (7-1)
KIF 1. Kauai (9-4-1)
This will be the year that someone other than Punahou will win. I think this year anyone can win it all, I think it will boil down to either Kailua, Moanalua, Mid Pac, or Baldwin.
